Windsurfing - Windsurfing (also called boardsailing) is a surface water sport involving a windsurf board, usually two to five meters long and powered by a single sail. The rig is connected to the board by a flexible joint.
Boom (windsurfing) - A boom in the context of windsurfing is a piece of equipment that attaches to the mast, providing structural support for the sail. Early booms were tied on to the mast using rope, but most newer booms use a clamp mechanism for attachments.
Sail twist - Sail twist is a phenomenon in sailing where the head of the sail is at a different point of sail from the foot of the sail. This means that the top of the sail is further out than the bottom of the sail.
